Female P. kandelakii s.l. is distinguished from the other Larroussious females by its spermathecal ducts without any lateral structures that are slightly dilated at the base and by their spermatheca with more than 30 segments. P. kandelakii s.l. comprises two morphologically similar taxa: P. kandelakii and P. burneyi. No diagnostic morphological characters available for the specific discrimination between the females of these two species.
